Leads, Longlines and More
SwaggerPaws
SwaggerPaws is a business set up by dog walkers for dog walkers! It came about whilst Katie and Ben were running their own dog walking business and realised how much they were spending. Luxury products aimed at pet parents weren’t meeting their business needs OR our business budgets! They weren’t satisfied with the quality or aesthetics of the more affordable options and felt left out of the pet shop experience.
So, they set about creating a dog-walkers store, filled with essentials, designed to be practical, bright and joyful equipment with a price tag that even my little start up can’t complain about!
Why I like them
The leads are bright and colourful and easy to see particularly with longline work. They also are so incredibly easy to clean, given the beautiful British weather that comes in extremely handy! Also their customer service is second to none and they are just lovely people to deal with!

GPS Trackers
PitPat is a GPS Tracker that I use for all my dogs and the dogs that walk with me. It gives me piece of mind while I am doing off lead work. Also it has helped me so much as both of my own dogs are rescues and still have the occasional interesting scent that I may not be as exciting as!

I like that it's a one off fee, there is no subscription charge, there is an optional one but you are not required to subscribe for it to work!
In their own words:
PitPat GPS determines your dog’s location by listening to satellite signals that are detectable out-of-doors anywhere in the world (the G in GPS is Global). Provided your dog is not indoors or under very dense cover, their PitPat should be able to receive the satellite signals and work out your dog’s location from them. It’s just like navigating by the stars, but with satellites. So far, so good.
HOWEVER, your PitPat then needs to transmit the location information back to us at PitPat HQ so that we can send it via the internet to your phone and you can see your dog on the map in our app. To do that, your PitPat uses ground-based mobile technologies called LTE-M and NB-IoT. These special networks are run by mobile/cellular operators, and your PitPat can use either of them automatically, depending on which signal is better at the time.
